Devil’s bridge (also known as Dyavolski most) is an arch bridge that was built between 1515 and 1518 by the Ottomans. The bridge is 56 m long and has three arches, and also features holes with small semicircular arches to read water level.

The bridge is located right on the way of two waterfalls. It is literally right on the road and allows you to see and feel the strong mist coming off the falls. The twin falls are cool and not all that common in the world – especially this easy to get to.

This bridge is located near the Historic Columbia River Highway, at milepost 32, Multnomah County, Oregon. It has a breathtaking view of Multnomah Falls. One of the few bridges constructed on the highway strictly for pedestrian use.

Stari Most is one of the most popular country’s landmarks. It’s a 16th-century Ottoman bridge in the city of Mostar that crosses the river Neretva and connects the two parts of the city. Hobbit’s Bridge is also known as Rakotzbrücke, which was specifically built to create a circle when it is reflected in the waters beneath it. Like many similar bridges across Europe, the Rakotzbrücke is known as a “devil’s bridge” due to the colloquialism that such bridges were so miraculous or dangerous that they must have been built by Satan.

Bridge of Mizarela is a medieval bridge that crosses the Rio Rabagão. There is a legend that this bridge was built by the Devil. When the mothers were afraid that their baby would be born dead or could not get pregnant – they would go to the bridge.

This bridge is 12,605 feet above sea level, so if you happen to be there – just don’t look down! Just keep your eyes on the panorama of the craggy French Alps. Getting here requires taking a cable car that climbs 9,200 vertical feet in 20 minutes.

Suspension bridge Geierlay is a pedestrian rope bridge between the local congregations Mёrsdorf and Sosberg. With its length of 360 m, it is considered to be the longest suspension bridge in Germany. Those who dare to cross it must have a head for heights.

Royal Gorge is the highest suspension bridge in America. The bridge crosses the gorge 955 feet (291 m) above the Arkansas River. It held the record of the highest bridge in the world from 1929 until 2001 when it was surpassed by the Liuguanghe Bridge in China. Due to 1982 the bridge didn’t have wind stabilizing cables.

Canopy Walk is a bridge above the forest in Ghana’s Kakum National Park. Of course, it has net walls and hand rails on the each side of you, but still you’re walking on a plank of wood on over one feet wide. The bridge is 1,000 feet long and 100 feet high.
